Akkazah Project

Styria, in partnership with Okazah platform and Iqraa Bayouni Association, conducted a training workshop on the basics of the art of stand-up comedy (Styria 101).
Fifteen participants with motor impairment and blindness were trained for twenty hours over a period of six weeks by Malke Mardinali and ten comedians from Styria.
After the workshop has ended, the participants performed their original material at Open Mic night as graduation project and shared their interesting stories in front of a live audience for the first time in their lives.
